I created Popolo Ceramico so I could create fabulous personalised ceramics, but also I wanted a flexible business that I could work around my kids. I work super hard around Mother's Day, Father's Day and Christmas, then I take all of the school holidays off to spend with my kids (including the full summer) It proved such a success that that we have now taken on 4 franchisee's within the North East and we are looking to expand further. We are a mobile business, so we don't work set hours. It is up to each franchisee what hours they work. It means I get to work in a creative environment, whilst earning a great income and still being able to do school drop off, pick up and spend the holidays with my kids and not miss out on them growing up.
