    Name: Gerda White

    Location: Cheltenham

Life: Husband, grandchildren, son, daughter in law and dogs

    How often do you work?
I try to work every day for a few hours, it depends on family responsibilities.

How does the job fit around your family life?
Fantastic. I can do my job, class prep, house chores, help with grandchildren and still have time for myself.

How much time do you commit?
    Between 3 to 5 hours

Where do you carry out your work?
Depending on what needs to be done, computer work obviously at home or sometimes on the farm, like the up keep of the garden, planting etc.

    Do you need a car?
Yes, one with space to carry stuff to and from

    Do you get support/training?
Yes, all the time. Online training is very handy. Any other support is available from head office.

Would you recommend this opportunity to others?
If you love the outdoors and little kids, this one is for you! I can combine my love for nature, gardening and little people through my job. To see the wonder and enjoyment in their faces when we are doing things outside, planting, learning etc is the biggest reward.

    Do you advertise?
Only on Social media. I have been thinking to advertise in the local booklet but have not done so yet. I pay a yearly fee to be on Cheltenham Rocks site. I had no success with pamphlets at nurseries. Kids get dropped off and picked up by families without looking around for pamphlets.

Are there any downsides to the role?
No downside for me. I live for this job, it gave me purpose and a goal.
