The National mumandworking Awards 2018 will be held on March 6 2018 as hosted by NatWest at RBS, 250 Bishopsgate, London - don't forget to add the date to your diary, follow us on social media or sign up to our newsletter here for more!
You can see our Terms and Conditions here and PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE READ OUR AWARDS CRITERIA here.
Below you will find our categories and the criteria. Please read the information for each carefully. These awards are not just about successful businesses and amazing business people. The mumandworking awards are all about FLEXIBLE WORKING so ensure in your submission you document how you/your business operates FLEXIBLY ensuring a work:life balance for the benefit of you and your business/team. A submission detailing a fabulous business case study but neglecting to focus on its flexible running is not what the judging panel are looking for.
We are all about how flexible working works! Parents traditionally seek flexible working opportunities but flexible working can be of benefit to many so judges will also welcome submissions from nominees with a variety of other commitments or responsibilities.
Judges will be looking for sustainable businesses with potential – NOT hobby businesses. Business success isn’t just about balance sheets and profit however – a ‘successful’ business can also be measured in terms of what it delivers to family life, to personal wellbeing and a sense of career satisfaction as well as financial return and projections.
What happens next?
Nominations close on December 8. A shortlist of candidates will then be drawn up and published online by December 15. Then the final judging process will commence which could involve a telephone interview should the judges decide so please ensure you submit your details correctly. If a judge does attempt to contact you please try to respond swiftly and make yourself available.
Voted for categories will be chosen by the public and voting will open on January 5 and close on February 5 2018.
SELECT INFORMATION ON BUSINESSES SUBMITTED FOR THE VOTED FOR CATEGORIES (ONLY) WILL APPEAR ONLINE TO SUPPORT THE VOTING PROCESS. (as per the information supplied in the 'reason for nomination box below)
