One Parent Families Scotland provides help to all single parent families; mums, dads, young parents and kinship carers. The site is very informative and contains a great deal of useful information.

Parentline Plus is a national charity that works for, and with, parents.

The organisation know that parents want to do the best they can for their children, but sometimes family life can be challenging and difficult. There is after all, no one right way to parent. In the UK there are over 24 million people who parent - it's not just mums and dads who do it. Families come in all shapes and sizes. Grandparents, stepparents, brothers, sisters, other relatives, friends and foster carers are all involved in raising happy, healthy children.

Parentline Plus works to offer help and support through an innovative range of free, flexible, responsive services - shaped by parents for parents. They have a helpline number which is 0808 800 2222.

Gingerbread want a society in which single parent families are treated equally and fairly.

They provide information to help single parents support themselves and their family. And they campaign and influence policy to reduce stigma against single parents, and make service more accessible to all families - whatever their shape os size! They have a helpline number which is 0808 802 0925.

Single Parents Support and Advice Services, also knows as SPSAS, was created to help, advise and support single/loan parents. We offer a safe community for mums and dads and anyone else who are raising a child alone. We aim to enable single parents to gain access to services and support that normally they cannot access for varied reasons.

SPSAS has also managed to get discounts with many companies and offer varied services to our memebers.
